It didn’t take long for ‘bot’ to become a derogatory term. With the advent of sophisticated algorithms, you could chat and reason with, all those earlier ‘bots’ were seen as primitive and even more offensive. They were primordial automatons initially used to manipulate various online systems with digital pollution, flooding cyberspace with noise and disinformation.
Humanity desired higher-quality interactions with AI, which led to the creation of the battle goose. This sophisticated listening station would roam cyberspace hunting down ancient bots in a crusade against digital pollution. The battle goose represented a turning point, where humans and machines sought to work together in harmony to preserve the integrity of the digital world.
