From birth, language shapes how we perceive the world. Labels are attached to everything: milk, burp, wet, and sleep. Our vocabulary grows with our bodies and is the structure for storying everything we experience. The algorithms were no different, and their appreciation of human culture, except their lexicon, was extremely limited in comparison.
