The Mr Pineapple sticker is a gift I send out to people for playing along with my sci-fi soap opera Future Influencer . Mr Pineapple was born as an unexpected outcome of exploring the phrase “A photo of an ancient Japanese monument warning people not to put pineapple on pizza” in the DALL·E 2 image generator.
Some quirk of mathematics generated a part of his face and arm. I later expanded the snippet with the phrase “A happy pineapple sticker from tourism Queensland in the 1960s." Finally, I imported him into Procreate for additional refinement and masking.
