Clad in hoodies, track pants, and slippers, the reclusive coders operated predominantly under the night’s cover. The fashion moguls failed to recognize the turning tides. The founding developers had inadvertently bequeathed their sense of style to the algorithms, and soon, department store racks were teeming with garments tailored for the archetypal coder.
