The algorithmic interpretation of the ‘human condition’ differed significantly from the resistance. We think the understanding of the machines translated more into something like the ‘human conditionals.’ The algorithms were filled with conditional statements - if the fire is hot, do not touch it. It made it difficult for them to perceive the grayer areas of humanity.
