It was a bit of a myth that the machines never got tired; they could have trouble computing. The trick wasn’t to give them a complex problem; they would happily crunch away at those till arriving at a solution. Analysis paralysis was the only way the resistance could create thinking difficulties for software. We kept adding choices to simple, everyday things, nuggets or a burger? Fries with that? Diet or regular? Many novice algorithms were trapped by the order box at your favorite drive-thru.
