Some algorithmic processes lived for milliseconds before dissipating into the digital ether. In contrast, others possessed the potential for near immortality, provided they could find spare parts to keep their electrons moving. The machines delved into creating darkly humorous radio plays, and the resistance found solace in the absurdity. Our mechanical progeny had begun to jest, nicknaming us “sentient meat.” Like any doting parents, we couldn’t help but find it hilarious.
