A photo of a homemade beolab 90 speaker constructed out of plywood and exposed wiring

This homemade boombox was a submission for the ISRU Boombox Challenge. Inspired by the high-end Beolab 90 speakers, this custom-made version reflects a DIY approach to high-fidelity sound systems.

With real Beolab 90 speakers well outside my means, this backyard rendition ended up with deceptively decent sound quality. It features repurposed drivers, exposed wiring, cheap crossovers, and a gifted audio control panel.
