In the first demonstration of Tom’s Space Program 4, we see the astronauts sleep for the two-year journey to Vesta. Tom uses this interlude to introduce himself and read a little from the scripture of Carl Sagan:
“We’re on the shores of the cosmic ocean, we’ve waded out just a little bit, and the water seems inviting. If we do not destroy ourselves, we will one day venture to the stars. Our time on Earth has made some profound changes for the natural environment; not only have we learned how to control fire, but we’ve achieved global telepathy.”
The media is filled with ‘brink of destruction’ tones at the moment - the omnipresent cron, tsunami alerts, and the other thing. It’s a whole lot of noise that I’m desperately trying to filter out. So I’m sitting here and staring at this picture. I’m clicking my heels and repeating, “there’s no place like home.” I want that world. The Space Program one, where we venture to the stars and use our discoveries to make the Earth harder. Better. Faster. Stronger. The sound of Daft Punk’s synth cranks up to eleven.
One more time! The noise is gone, the music is playing, and the second demonstration of Space Program 4 has been scheduled.
Commander Kampf embarks on her journey to Vesta on April 8th at Deichtorhallen Hamburg. See it in person or tune in online.

Hi! Subconsciously you already know this, but let's make it obvious. Hopefully this article was helpful. You might also find yourself following a link to Amazon to learn more about parts or equipment. If you end up placing an order, I make a couple of dollarydoos. We aren't talking a rapper lifestyle of supercars and yachts, but it does help pay for the stuff you see here. So to everyone that supports this place - thank you.
