The first curiosity of my monastic engineering experience.
Built from Woolworths promotional materials, plywood, a Raspberry Pi and custom electronics. I was playing around with ideas of how economies become divorced from the finite constraints of our world.
The Raspberry Pi reads data from the Australian Stock Exchange. When the price of Woolworths stock rises, the biodiversity of the curiosity improves.
Geared DC motors turn on and the animals become ‘alive’. Animal playing cards are swiped through a promotional reader, which generates a matching sound. When the price of Woolworths stock falls, the biodiversity of the curiosity degrades.

Remove the supplied RJ45 cable from the flux injector and connect it to the internet.
Connect power and set the flux injector to output five volts.
The flux injector is now correctly configured to broadcast the internet and power to the curiosity.
If a part of our savings continued to flow into industry American labor, management and capital can continue to build new tools and plants.
