What the hell is this whole 3D printing thing that I seem to be reading about everywhere? As part of my stay as “DIY Catalyst” at The Edge I put together a short lecture as an introduction to 3D printing. It included a 3D printing demonstration using a RepRap printer and covered a whole bunch of different 3D printing techniques.
